The Andy Hague Quintet
Comprising some of the best musicians in the Bristol area, the Andy Hague Quintet has recorded several times for national radio, toured twice with support from Jazz Services, and appeared at jazz festivals such as Brecon & Swanage. The repertoire combines Andy's catchy original compositions with fresh treatments of jazz standards. A recent highlight for the band was to be booked to play in the bar of Bristol's Colston Hall after a concert by Wynton Marsalis & the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra - Wynton & several other members of the LCO then sat in with the quintet for an after-hours jam session.

The Andy Hague Big Band
The Andy Hague Big Band is a showcase for the huge amount of jazz talent we have in and around Bristol. The band has played two sell-out shows at The Tobacco Factory and received great reviews for their performance at Swanage Jazz Festival 2007. Besides their jazz activities band members have many TV, film and session credits on their CV's, including performances with chart bands Portishead, Goldfrapp & Kasabian.

Silverado
This is a tribute to Horace Silver, for which we add Kevin Figes to the quintet line-up to form a sextet. We perform a selection of Silver's uplifting and groovy music from throughout his long career, with transcriptions from the recordings and new arrangements by Andy.
Toes were indeed tapped, and the capacity crowd were even jigging in their seats...this was a well-matched band playing intelligent & accessible jazz, and a great tribute to an under-appreciated master - Venue Magazine.
